need motivation

I haven't done anything really productive this summer. At least nothing very artistic. Saul and I went to the National Gallery today and it was inspiring yet all I did was clean my room instead of drawing like I said I would.

Hawaii Trip 07

I found these pictures from my trip to Hawaii last summer. I forgot that i had gotten a CD with all of my pictures on it. These were taken with a 35 mm camera and my first roll of color film.

So Tim Lamb yelled at me for not updating. (who else would yell at me? does anyone else check this?) but sorry for the lack of posts. I've been busy with not a lot but here are some pictures that i have taken recently. I generally really hate pictures of flowers but Saul, Andrew and I went to the Botanical Gardens so I thought it would be a good idea to use my camera. And flowers are pretty enough so I'm not wasting my time. Oh but bad news Murky Coffee apparently has had tax issues and the one by eastern market is closed for good. yikes.






















ps. the colors on my screen are off so the pictures are a little bit off too.

So i'm doing a good job at keeping this updated... Went home with Saul and Tim

Went home this weekend to see Destroyer at the Black Cat. Good show. Saul and I wanted to show Tim around so I called my friend Neil to take us out to dinner. We got to see a good part of the city and made it to the show just in time to see Destroyer. I don't have any pictures from Friday because I don't. but Saturday we went to some thrift stores and went to see the Sartorialist exhibit at the Adamson Gallery. It was good times and I still need to get used to my camera.... I'm such a great photographer.
